I’m an advocate for tick-borne disease prevention, education, funding, and patient support.

You can often find me community-organizing or speaking publicly. Below is a selection of podcast episodes, interviews, and resources. If you have a project in mind, are curious about current projects, or want to say hello, email me!

The Generation Lyme Podcast

Through interviews, roundtable discussions, and story sharing, we offer hope, raise awareness, and show the human side of the most common vector-borne infectious disease in the United States, which is still poorly understood, under-diagnosed, and without a cure.

Selected episodes:

Generation Lyme x Tick Boot Camp

Generation Lyme has created a judgment-free meetup platform to defeat the isolation caused by Lyme disease.”

Advocacy with the Tick JEDI Coalition

Check out this clip of Jennifer Hoffmann, Tick JEDI Director of Communications, speaking at the recent @advocacyexpress one-year celebration with Ali Moresco (@alitmoresco). As we build our coalition, getting the word out, face-to-face advocacy and participation in events like these are more important than ever.

You can catch up on the entire event by listening to Episode 233 of the @tickbootcamp podcast titled "Advocacy & Purpose." Elected officials from around the United States joined leading Lyme disease advocates to celebrate the first anniversary of Advocacy Express, which flipped over 40 representatives to now support Lyme legislation!

The event featured Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner (Long Island, New York), Brookhaven Town Councilman Kevin LaValle (Long Island, New York), New York State Assemblyman Steve Englebright, and Michigan State Representative Karen Whitsett. These elected officials share their personal Lyme experiences, what they’ve done to help the Lyme community, and how you can personally advocate for Lyme disease to your elected representatives.

This discussion is followed up with a question-and-answer session from members of the Lyme community before concluding with a patient advocate discussion with Matt Sabatello and Rich Johannesen from Tick Boot Camp@alitmoresco@jenny_buttaccio, and @jenniferlyynn.
